The Greater Manchester Brussels Office serves as a link between Greater Manchester Brussels Office partners and the European Union.
The office aims to promote the interests of Greater Manchester: its needs, priorities and achievements. We provide information and intelligence that is rapidly delivered, reliable and relevant to our partners.
We ensure that partners make full and effective use of the Brussels Office’s services and help partners to identify priorities and to develop strategies.
The office has the expertise to cut through cant and jargon. We use our expertise to get to the heart of complex questions and to explain developments in a straightforward way.
We keep a watching brief on many issues of concern to our partners, but focus mainly on four policy areas identified by partners. Currently outlined as : Urban Congestion/Public Transport; Urban Policy and Social Inclusion; Waste Management/Disposal; and, Aviation.
